Eat Drink Vote

It was a day of spectacular Autumn sunshine in Malmo – and people came from far and wide to try the best street food in Europe. We’ve just had the first count of the votes at Stora Varvsgatan 14 for the final of the 2019 European Street Food Awards, and it’s close. Really close. People clearly can’t make up their minds. And with so many great traders to choose from (check out this little lot) our in-house voting experts are finding it hard to pick up on any definitive trends at the end of Day One. Six traders have a slight edge, but that could change in a matter of minutes. The public vote closes at 6pm on Sunday, and any one of the 21 traders could walk away with the People’s Choice. As we get ready for D Day, it’s all to play for. The Judges arrive on Sunday to pick out THEIR winners, with all the results due be announced live in Malmo at around 7pm (also available on European Street Food’s instagram and Facebook feeds). Hugh will also be tweeting live as fast as his big fingers will let him. We open on Sunday at 12pm – come down and make your voice heard.

THE VOTING SO FAR…

3. Irvin’s BBQ (Sweden)
4. Dhaba Kitchen (Denmark)
5. Social Burgerjoint (Finland)

7= Everyone else – we’re not even joking.
