Hosted by Die Streetfood Familie at Pineapple Park in Munich. October 10-12. Get planning. Who will win YOUR vote?

Jaybees Food Truck (2025 Winner, Switzerland)
The Jaybees truck is more than just a kitchen on wheels — “it’s our stage”says George. “We’ve driven it across Switzerland and beyond, from small village squares to big international competitions, always carrying the same spirit: 100% flavour, 0% animal products. Over time, we’ve customised it to fit our way of cooking, with everything from a lava grill to space for ovens for our home-baked brioche. People often tell us they can smell the food before they even see the truck — and when they do, it’s like spotting an old friend. For us, it’s not just a vehicle, it’s a symbol of independence and creativity, and every scratch on it tells part of our story!”

Toni’s Eatery (2025 Winner, Germany)
Toni Tanzer is all about combining regional classics with international twists. His motto? Tradition meets modernity. “It’s evident in my second dish for judging” says Toni. “A Thuringian roast sausage with pumpkin chutney, maple syrup and ginger.” With a real sense of style (check out the Airstream Diner XL), this guy is out for the title.

11er Genussbus (ESFA Champion 2023)
Yes, the 11er genussbuss serves light, crisp potato rostis, stuffed with generous and imaginative fillings. But it’s about SO much more. The ESFA Champions from 2023 cook their potato-based menu – with style – out of a native Californian Airstream settled to the mountains of Austria. “We are the cool potato boys and we care about great food – so we designed our signature dish with some new ingedients and a fresh, new look.” Awesomeness is assured.

Son’s Asien Streetfood (2025 Winner, Germany)
Tu Anh Tran grew up with Saigon street food. “The street vendors and their calls are part of my childhood memories” she says. Her soufflé pancakes, baked in the pan and served with yoghurt sauce and fruits, are now a defining taste of German street food.“I have had a passion for food since I was a primary school girl. I still pursue that passion to this day. That is the reason why I am here.”

Sando (Returning Winner, Norway)
Piotr won European Street Food Awards for Best Looking with Matalogi in 2023 and 2024. But he wants to be know for more than his good looks. Check out his Korean BBQ Sando – marinated and grilled beef bulgogi, served with homemade kimchi, cucumber pickles, carrots, and salad. All wrapped together with grilled bread and finished with chili mayo, gochujang, and parsnip chips. Could this be his year?

Flammaster (2025 Winner, Norway)
Kamil’s signature dish is Flamm Polish. The ingredients are the same as in the original flamkuchen, which originates from Alsace, but Kamil has enriched his flamm with smoked and brined cottage cheese from Środa Wielkopolska PLUS fresh Polish parsley, which perfectly complements the flavour of the dish.

Al Fuso Pugliese (2025 Winner, Italy)
The idea for Al Fuso, born three years ago, was to bring the products of Puglia to Italy and beyond. “Our bun is a unique, fully-handcrafted sandwich. The bun is made by a bakery in Altamura, the city of bread, using five cereals and a 24-hour fermentation. It’s paired with melted caciocavallo cheese, our tender bombette that melt in your mouth, and turnip greens. Every ingredient is handmade, one by one, and together they create an unforgettable flavor.” From Puglia – with love.

Porko Iberico (2025 Winner, Italy)
The family has been producing porchetta di Ariccia since 1924. But, in just a year and a half since the birth of their new brand, Porko Iberico have grown to a fleet of four food trucks. “Handcrafted masterpieces, built by blacksmiths and carpenters” they say. “We converted 1960s horse vans into authentic works of art.” And their product? Something special too. The neck of the 100% Iberian breed Spanish pork, poached in porchetta lard, then shredded and paired with high-quality Italian ingredients. Good enough to win?

Traveling Taco (2025 Winner, Sweden)
Oscar Gobec is a trained car mechanic. But his passion was always food. “After graduating in 2018” says Oscar, “I dreamed of one day starting my own business. After a few years of consideration, I decided to follow my dream. I sold everything I owned, quit my job, and fully invested in my own food project.” Taste his Birria Tacos – slow-cooked beef, gently braised in a rich broth of chilies, tomatoes and spices until it falls apart – and you’ll know he made the right choice.

MIKI (ESFA Champion 2024)
The 2024 ESFA Champions are back – with a new menu. At the beginning it was just Miki and his girlfriend Maria with a small three-wheel Piaggio Ape. Now, a few years later, the team is much bigger, the third truck is on order and the second baby is on its way. “We’ve grown up, but we’re still passionate” says Miki. Can they defend their title?

Saffa Soul (2025 Winner, UK)
It’s a long journey from Joburg to Manchester. But, for Huggy, an inspirational one that ended in the creation of his business Saffa Soul. His unique Bunny Chow (at its core the most important street food to come out of South Africa) has stripped back the classic, by stuffing sweet Cape Malay curry into a smaller home-made crusty loaf, and made it more manageable.

The Ama Bokke wrap showcases what every South African loves – a good BRAAI! “We import wood from South Africa called Sekelbos, which adds an aroma and flavour to the 24hr marinated chicken” says Huggy. “We then stuff it in a hand made roti that is a mix of recipes from my grandmothers and my Aunty. It’s flaky, buttery and has our customers addicted.”

Nennas Food Truck (2025 Winner, Sweden)
It used to be a mobile library. But today it’s a food truck, selling Nennas organic sourdough Lángos – a unique take on the Hungarian classic. By combining the deep flavor and texture of long-fermented sourdough with carefully sourced organic Swedish ingredients, Nennas have created a street food that is both rooted in tradition and reimagined for today.

The flour comes from a small local artisan mill, the chanterelles are foraged in the forests around Helena’s home, and the Jerusalem artichokes are grown in her own fields. The pears are sourced from nearby farms, and the lingonberries are handpicked by her neighbours. “Our philosophy is simple” says Helena. “Take what nature gives us, treat it with respect, and transform it into outstanding street food that tells a story of place, craft, and passion.”

MANNO (2025 Winner, Slovakia)
This premium streetfood concept from Slovakia focuses on the very best beef from around the world. “Our mission is to bring fine-dining quality meats, burgers, ribs and steaks to the streetfood scene, served with passion and love.”

But that isn’t easy. Take Manno’s signature dish – beef rib. “We confit it. Put it into salt, thyme and garlic for few hours. Then into duck fat for about eight hours. After that we serve it with our homemade demi-glace.” Street food? You bet.

Waffle Wands (2025 Finalist, UK)
Waffle Wands are proud of their Danish roots – “that’s what inspired us to start the waffles on a stick business” says Louie. “But we are influenced by Dutch food too, and we like to bring a touch of Amsterdam to everywhere we go.” Which explains the Poffertjes and the Stroopwafels on the menu. It’s all an education. Come see. “Our food is very interactive to watch we bake everything fresh in front of our audience and top our treats with warm sauces and luxury toppings. People are always blown away by our innovative products and the flavours we offer.”

Chacha Time (Returning Winner, Georgia)
Georgian cuisine is perfect for sharing, for feasting and for elevating your drink. Crispy snacks, smoky meats and savoury finger food that are designed for raising toasts. Chacha Time from Tbilisi will help you turn your evening into an experience.

Glodzilla (2025 Winner, Poland)
Głodzilla Pińczów are Poland’s People’s Choice. The name is a Polish joke – Glodzilla is a combination of the words “Godzilla and “hunger”. Agnieszka and Łukasz Niebudek run a famous burger joint in Pińczów, and they love nothing more than taking their Głodzillotruck out to the towns of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. But now they’re headed on a journey of a lifetime. To Munich.

Croquer La Pie (2025 Winner, France)
2023 marked a turning point in the career of Joannès Richard. After years of culinary innovation, his talent and creativity were recognized. In Dallas, at the prestigious World Burger Championship, he won the supreme title. He had already won the French Burger Championship. All that was missing in his life? The Best Burger title at the European Street Food Awards. Will he do it?

Oshpaz (2025 Winner, UK)
Come try the UK’s only Uzbek food truck. You won’t regret it. You may have already tried Oshpaz at the World Halal Food Festival but now chef Muzaffar Sadykov is bringing his Uzbek food to Munich. The signature dish in this Central Asian cuisine is plov (also known as pilaf), but also expect Lagman hand-pulled noodles – pan fried or in an aromatic broth – steamed dumplings with a carrot salad, sour cream dip and chilli oil, and shaslik kebabs.

Smokey Street Food (2025 Winner, Slovakia)
Smokey Street Food come from Kosice, Slovakia’s second largest city. “We focus on smoking high-quality meats like USDA prime brisket from the USA and pork butt from Slovakia, using the low-and-slow technique to achieve tender, flavorful results.”

Fumetto (Returning Winner, Italy)
Born from a love of comics and smoked meats, Fumetto started out as a food truck before it evolved into a sandwich shop plus workshop in the Brescia region of Italy. “What sets our meat apart” says Emanuele “is that it comes from local farms and undergoes two distinct processes: smoking and spit-cooking. We adapted ancient recipes from Brescia’s tradition.”

Rock Burger (Returning Winner, Italy)
Ronnie Pizzo always loved hamburgers. But the rock drummer wanted to create something different – to give his burgers a rebel soul. “I played all over the world with my band and, for years, I got people dancing with distorted guitars and maximum volume! I wanted people to feel the same way when they tasted one of my burgers. I also wanted to combine the American burger tradition with the quality of Italian food.” Finally, in 2014, the idea took shape. And Rock Burger was born!

Złote Paluchy Churros
 (Returning Winner, Poland)
It’s a street food success story. From one trailer, seven years ago, to the biggest street food company in Poland. It all started when, after 11 years overseas, Krzysztof came home to Poland to find churros were still unknown. “I bought a trailer, made a dough and for six months I tested it on my friends” he says. “We still make our churros with just the one type of flour, eggs, sugar, spices – and a drop of sweat as our magic ingredient.” The churros maniacs are always developing new ideas. “Churros dumplings for instance” says Krzysztof. “Sweet and savoury. And we’re probably the only people on the planet to do churros burgers!” Will they do them in Munich? Let’s hope so!

Casey’s (Returning Winner, Sweden)
The phrase ‘one and one’ – used when ordering fish and chips in Dublin – dates back to the 1880s. That’s when an Italian, Giuseppe Cervi, bought a coal-fired cooker and a hand-cart to sell chips outside pubs. When he graduated to selling fish as well, his wife would ask customers, ‘Uno di questo, uno di quello?’, meaning ‘one of this and one of the other?’ Fish and chips has been the most popular street food in Ireland ever since. “We keep the tradition alive” says Sean, “but of course with our own little twist. It’s Icelandic haddock, with Guinness batter, and fresh cut chips – all served with salt, malt vinegar and our own tartar sauce. Traditional working-class street food without frills or hipster points.”

MADE by Augs (Returning Winner, Latvia)
The Augs story started with nothing more than a 40-euro gas stove, huge imagination, and determination. “Since then” says Ieva “we’ve cooked in all kinds of conditions, even standing outside in minus 25°C.” The Augs logo is a tiny plant – symbolising a family business with ambition to grow and develop. The plant, in this case, is managed by Ieva the chef and Gatis with the hospitality experience. “The food we prepare could be described as street food with a gourmet twist” says Gatis.

Piece of Greece (2025 Winner, Norway)
The Piece of Greece story began in the spring of 2019. Two passionate brothers from Poland, Damian and Łukasz, decided to bring the taste of Greece to Norway. They founded Street Food Norway, which quickly became a success. After their first season, they took an inspiring trip to Mykonos, where they fell deeply in love with Greek culture and cuisine. Today, Damian and Łukasz are proud owners of several food trucks and organize over 60 street food festivals every year—spreading the joy of authentic Greek food from Kristiansand to Tromsø.

Crazy FoodTrucks (2025 Winner, Norway)
Karam Tamim is from the Middle East. “We started in Norway with one food truck, serving American and Mediterranean sandwiches. Joining Street Food Norway festivals sparked the birth of Crazy Foodtrucks. Within a year, we added Crepes & Dutch Poffertjes and Kitsune Karaage to our repertoire. Now, just three years later, we’re rolling strong with eighteen food trucks, countless festivals, endless hard work, and one big happy family on wheels.”
