The Latvian Street Food Awards 2026 did not disappoint. 🍔🏆

For years, Latvia has been punching well above its weight at the European Street Food Awards — let’s be honest, Bao Latvia practically had a reserved parking space in the ESFA finals. 🇱🇻🔥

This year’s Latvian champion? Sushi Brothers, whose genius Tiger Shrimp Burger swapped the bun for crispy sushi rice patties. It’s the kind of idea that makes burgers question their life choices. 🍣🍤🍔

Meanwhile, BBQ Wagon were crowned the People’s Choice Champion —which is basically the award decided by the only judges who really matter: hungry people. ❤️🏆

Their celebrity menu was out in force:
🥪 Claw Eastwood – their legendary lobster roll. Fresh, decadent, and packed with premium flavour.
🍔 Oink Freeman – their signature BBQ pulled pork burger. Slow-smoked, tender, and delivering an award-worthy performance in every bite.

The best part? Both champions now head to the European Street Food Awards Finals in Saarbrücken, Germany, on September 18–20, where Latvia will once again take on the very best street food traders from across Europe. 🇩🇪🇱🇻
