No Way Norway!

It was an idyllic location – in the port town of Alesund on the west coast of Norway, with a view of the surrounding archipelago and the fjords off Mount Aksla. But the final of the 2025 Norwegian Street Food Awards, on July 5, still managed to draw the crowds away from the breathtaking views.

The whole city was filled with delicious smells. Children were dancing to the music, foodies were tasting their way through the finalists’ menus, and curious tourists staying longer than they had planned – as everything merged into a street food folk festival that Alesund will never forget.

And this is how the voting went down. Representing Norway at the grand finals of the 2025 European Street Food Awards in Munich will be:

1 Piece of Greece
2 Funky Chicken
3 Japanese Food Truck

The People’s Choice also went to the Japanese Food Truck – the public’s clear favourite.
