The Swiss Are Here!
The ten finalists at the 2025 Swiss Street Food Awards cooked their hearts out on the Archplatz in Winterthur, but – after three days of feasting – Switzerland finally decided on its winners. This was how the weekend went down:
Best of Switzerland: Jaybees defend their win from 2024!
Jury’s Favourite: Tomakee – the jury loved the dessert but they also fell for the team AND the truck!!
People’s Choice: Bruggli bagged the most votes for their brilliantly innovative sushi dogs
“It was another wonderful event this year, with really tough competition” say Jaybees. “We’re now looking forward to representing Switzerland at the European Street Food Awards at Pineapple Park in Munich October 10-12.”
It was the best collection of street food traders ever assembled in Switzerland:

Jaybees – Vegan Street Food
Mexica – Mexican Street Food
Tomakee – Fusion kitchen «East meets West»
Manu’s Foodliner – Piadinas
Chickalicious – Thai Chicken

They had to win over an impressive panel of judges that included Larissa Graf from the Falstaff Street Food Guide; Stéphanie Zosso, the 2022 Culinary World Champion; Tauli Mulaj, who was a finalist in MasterChef Switzerland in 2023; and Mama Luna, a private caterer with a three-wheeled Piaggio Ape.
“What a foodie adventure!” says Tauli. “Testing the most creative street food ideas. From sushi hotdogs to Asian fusion to vegan highlights, it was another fireworks of flavour and inspiration. Every year I discover new trends, crazy combinations and so much passion. I love it!”
